About the Author

Assalammualaikum. My name is Airil Yasreen Mohd Yassin. I am 34 years old. I obtained my BSc and MSc from UTM and my PhD in Structural Engineering from Imperial College London. Currently, I am teaching at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, UTM JB and a research fellow at Steel Technology Centre (STC), UTM. My general interests are on knowledge and music whilst my specialized interests are on continuum mechanics and numerical techniques. I am married to Halinawati Hirol. We have four childrens; Airil Haziq, Hasya 'Ainaa, Nuha Liyana and Hafsa Binish. I have a Gibson Les Paul.
